This study aims to elucidate the role of FGFR1 in activating the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and the underlying mechanisms by which it promotes malignant progression in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC). By integrating multi-omics analysis with functional experiments, the clinical heterogeneity of FGFR1 amplification, signaling crosstalk, and their regulatory networks governing tumor phenotypes were revealed. Using TCGA data (n = 490), we analyzed the relationship between FGFR1 copy number variation (CNV) and mRNA expression in LUSC, and validated the correlation with protein expression in a clinical cohort (n = 38). GSEA and single-gene GSEA were performed to identify signaling pathways associated with high FGFR1 expression. The interaction between FGFR1 and the Wnt/β-catenin pathway was investigated by immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, stable cell lines, Western blot, qPCR, and functional assays. FGFR1 amplification correlated with increased mRNA and protein expression. The top 25% FGFR1 high-expression group enriched Wnt/β-catenin, PI3K-Akt, and cAMP pathways. Mechanistically, FGFR1 promoted β-catenin nuclear accumulation and enhanced β-catenin signaling through PKA-associated phosphorylation and Akt/GSK3β-related regulation of β-catenin stability, and these effects were attenuated by AKT inhibition. CTNNB1 knockdown significantly inhibited proliferation, migration, invasion, and tumor growth of LUSC cells. Our findings indicate that FGFR1 activates Wnt/β-catenin signaling through coordinated regulation of β-catenin phosphorylation, stability, and subcellular localization, thereby promoting malignant progression in LUSC. Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) are key components of the tumor microenvironment (TME) that contribute to tumor progression and therapeutic resistance in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, effective strategies targeting CAF regulation remain limited. Here, we investigated the effects of the plant-derived compound 20(S)-Ginsenoside Rg3 on CAFs using an integrated network pharmacology and experimental validation approach. Network pharmacology analysis identified 107 overlapping targets between Rg3 and NSCLC. PPI network analysis highlighted EGFR, JUN, TP53, and STAT3 as key hub genes. KEGG enrichment analysis indicated that these targets were significantly enriched in the IL-17 and MAPK signaling pathways. These genes and pathways have been associated with fibroblast activation and tumor stromal remodeling, suggesting a potential role of Rg3 in regulating CAF-related processes within the tumor microenvironment. Functional experiments demonstrated that Rg3 inhibited CAF proliferation, colony formation and migration, while inducing apoptosis and mitochondrial dysfunction. Mechanistically, Rg3 upregulated IL-17RD and suppressed FGFR1-MAP2K4-JNK-c-Jun signaling. Furthermore, co-culture experiments revealed that Rg3-treated CAFs exhibited reduced pro-tumorigenic effects on NSCLC cells, indicating impaired tumor-stroma communication. Collectively, these findings demonstrate that 20(S)-Ginsenoside Rg3 suppresses CAF activation and function associated with the IL-17RD-FGF-MAP2K4-JNK-c-Jun signaling pathway, highlighting its potential as a tumor microenvironment-targeted therapeutic agent in NSCLC. High-throughput techniques such as next-generation sequencing, gene fusion panels, and methylation arrays have expanded applicability to formalin-fixed tissue and enabled simultaneous evaluation of multiple cancer-defining alterations/genetic drivers. In optic nerve gliomas, MAPK pathway activation through BRAF or FGFR1 alterations, or NF1 inactivation, is a basic biological feature with diagnostic implications, while MEK inhibitors may be of clinical benefit in selected patients. Despite the rapid development of epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR-TKIs) in recent decades, resistance remains a significant challenge in managing advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Elucidating the mechanisms underlying EGFR-TKI resistance and developing novel strategies are therefore crucial. In this study, we investigated the role of polo-like kinase 1 (PLK1) in EGFR-mutant NSCLC and evaluated the therapeutic potential of combining EGFR-TKIs with PLK1 inhibitors. We demonstrated that high PLK1 expression correlates with STAT3 signaling activation and decreased survival probability in EGFR-mutant NSCLC patients. Subsequent studies revealed that PLK1 inhibitors effectively reversed the activation of STAT3 induced by EGFR-TKIs. When used in combination with EGFR-TKIs, they promoted cell apoptosis, inhibited cell proliferation in vitro, and induced tumor regression in animal models. Mechanistically, our data demonstrated that PLK1 regulated STAT3 activity through protein-protein interactions and JAK1-mediated phosphorylation, while STAT3 reciprocally regulated PLK1 transcription, establishing a positive feedback loop between these signaling molecules. This PLK1/STAT3 loop was further reinforced by FGFR1 upregulation and directly linked to EGFR-TKI resistance. Targeting this axis with combinatorial inhibitors exerted synergistic anti-tumor effects, suppressing proliferation and migration in osimertinib-resistant models. In conclusion, concurrent inhibition of EGFR and FGFR1/STAT3/PLK1 signaling pathways provides a promising therapeutic strategy for NSCLC patients with EGFR mutations, enhancing efficacy and overcoming resistance. The role of FGF is the least understood of the morphogens driving mammalian gastrulation. Here, we have investigated FGF function in a 2D gastruloid model for human gastrulation. We observed a ring of FGF-dependent ERK activity that closely follows the emergence of primitive streak (PS)-like cells but expands further inward. This ERK activity pattern depends on localized activation of basolateral FGF receptor 1 (FGFR1) by endogenous FGF gradients and is required for PS-like differentiation, with loss of PS-like cells upon FGF receptor inhibition rescued by direct ERK activation. Single cell transcriptome analysis confirmed that, among the ligands, FGF2 is broadly expressed, FGF8 is transiently expressed during PS-like differentiation and FGF4/17 are specifically expressed in PS-like cells - similar to the human and monkey embryo but different from the mouse. FGF4 knockdown greatly reduced PS-like differentiation, while FGF17 knockdown primarily affected subsequent mesoderm differentiation. FGF8 expression was spatially and temporally displaced from PS markers and FGF4 expression, while knockdown expanded PS-like cells, suggesting FGF8 may limit PS-like differentiation. Thus, we have identified a previously unreported role for FGF-dependent ERK signaling in 2D gastruloids and possibly the human embryo, where FGF4 and FGF17 signal through basolateral FGFR1 to induce PS-like cells and derivatives, potentially restricted by FGF8. Chemotherapy-induced myelosuppression (MYE) remains a major dose-limiting toxicity that severely compromises treatment efficacy and patient outcomes, while effective therapeutic agents are still lacking. This study aimed to evaluate the therapeutic effects of 20(S)-protopanaxadiol-human serum albumin nanoparticles (20(S)-PPD-HSA NPs) on cyclophosphamide-induced MYE and to elucidate the underlying mechanisms. 20(S)-PPD-HSA NPs were characterized by electron microscopy, particle size, zeta potential, drug loading, and encapsulation efficiency. A cyclophosphamide-induced MYE mouse model was established. Hematopoietic recovery was evaluated via blood counts, ELISA for granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF), and flow cytometry for Lin The 20(S)-PPD-HSA NPs exhibited a uniform nanostructure and excellent drug delivery performance. In vivo, the 20(S)-PPD-HSA NPs significantly alleviated cyclophosphamide-induced hematopoietic dysfunction, restored the structure of bone marrow and spleen tissues, and markedly increased the number of LSK cells, with their therapeutic effect being independent of elevated G-CSF levels. Further studies demonstrated that the 20(S)-PPD-HSA NPs activated the FGFR1/ERK signaling pathway, an effect that was partially blocked by FGFR1 or ERK inhibitors. In vitro, 20(S)-PPD-HSA NPs promoted the proliferation of OP9 cells and murine splenic stromal cells, inhibited apoptosis, DNA damage, and cellular senescence, and upregulated SCF and SDF-1 expression via activation of the FGFR1/ERK pathway. Co-culture experiments further confirmed that the NPs improved the hematopoietic microenvironment and enhanced the stromal cells' hematopoietic support function. 20(S)-PPD-HSA NPs effectively enhanced medullary and extramedullary hematopoietic functions in cyclophosphamide-induced MYE mice by activating the FGFR1/ERK pathway, independent of increased G-CSF levels. This study aims to demonstrate the effect of toadflax (bufalin) on erlotinib resistance in nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) by inhibiting the fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR). The microfluidic mobility transferase and caliper mobility-shift assays were employed to detect the FGFR inhibition by bufalin and the binding reversibility. Further, the inhibitory effects of bufalin were determined in HCC827 and HCC827/ER cells in vitro , investigating relative FGFR overexpression by quantitative reverse transcriptase-PCR (RT-qPCR) and FGFR downstream proteins, that is, FGFR substrate 2 (FRS2), extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK), and S6 by western blot analysis. Finally, HCC827/ER-inoculated xenograft tumors were constructed to observe the effects of bufalin and bufalin + erlotinib intervention on tumor growth. Bufalin inhibited FGFR by reversibly binding to FGFR1. In addition, the western blot analysis indicated a significant reduction in the expression levels of FGFR, FRS2, ERK, and S6 proteins in HCC827 and HCC827/ER cells, increasing the expression levels of apoptotic caspase-3 and poly-(ADP-ribose) polymerase proteins. Bufalin + erlotinib combination significantly inhibited the apoptosis of HCC827/ER cells and subsequent tumor growth in vivo . In addition, FGFR overexpression significantly reversed the sensitivity of bufalin to HCC827/ER cells, promoting the value-addition of HCC827/ER cells. Further, bufalin + erlotinib significantly reduced the growth of erlotinib-resistant HCC827/ER tumors, induced apoptosis, and inhibited the expression of FGFR and p-ERK proteins. Periodontitis is a prevalent chronic infectious condition affecting the oral cavity. This research was conducted to analyze the role of GATA6 in LPS-stimulated human periodontal ligament cells (hPDLCs). Dysregulated genes associated with periodontitis were acquired from the GEO database (GSE23586). Cell viability was measured utilizing the MTT assay, while apoptosis was analyzed through flow cytometry. The expression levels of mRNA and proteins were examined using qRT-PCR and Western blot techniques, respectively. Levels of IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α were measured using specific ELISA kits. The mouse periodontitis model was established to evaluate the effect of GATA transcription factor 6 (GATA6) in vivo.The results demonstrated that GATA6 was downregulated in periodontitis and LPS-stimulated hPDLCs. Overexpression of GATA6 enhanced cell viability, while inhibited apoptosis in hPDLCs. It also reduced the levels of IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α in LPS-stimulated hPDLCs. Additionally, after transfection with a GATA6 overexpression vector, the expressions of Caspase 3 and Bax proteins were suppressed, while Bcl2 was upregulated. Furthermore, in LPS-stimulated hPDLCs, the protein levels of Notch1, Hey1, and Hey2 were enhanced after GATA6 overexpression. Silencing of Notch1 neutralized the effects of GATA6 in LPS-stimulated hPDLCs. In addition, GATA6 overexpression alleviated the progression of periodontitis in vivo. Steroid-refractory (SR) disease develops in a substantial fraction of patients with grade II-IV acute graft-versus-host disease (aGvHD) and is associated with poor long-term survival. Improved mechanistic insight is needed to identify reliable predictors of steroid resistance. We retrospectively profiled peripheral blood collected prior to glucocorticoid treatment from allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation recipients without aGvHD, with steroid-sensitive aGvHD, and with SR-aGvHD using an integrated multi-omics approach, and validated findings in an independent multicenter cohort. Mass cytometry revealed expansion of activated CD28+ CD8+ effector-memory T (Tem) cells in SR-aGvHD. Absolute counts of these cells at neutrophil engraftment predicted subsequent steroid resistance in the multicenter cohort and performed comparably to established clinical classifiers. This phenotype was associated with a proinflammatory milieu enriched for IL-2, IL-27, and IFN-γ. Single-cell RNA sequencing and functional assays implicated a STAT1-glucocorticoid receptor (GR) regulatory axis in which inflammatory cytokines induce STAT1 phosphorylation and suppress GR expression, consistent with intrinsic glucocorticoid resistance. JAK inhibition rescued cytokine-induced steroid resistance in vitro, while in SR-aGvHD patients, clinical response to ruxolitinib was accompanied by reduced STAT1 activation, restoration of GR expression, and contraction of the expanded CD8+ Tem pool. These findings identify immune dysregulation at SR-aGvHD centered on CD8+ Tem cells with a STAT1-dependent GR deficit and support a mechanistic link to steroid refractoriness. The specific cytokines that coordinate these inflammatory pathways remain largely undefined. The expression of IL-27 and its receptor was analyzed using data derived from GEO datasets. Imiquimod-induced psoriasis-like and MC903-induced AD-like skin inflammation models were established in wild-type and Il27ra knockout littermates. Skin inflammation was evaluated using clinical scoring, histology, and immunostaining. Flow cytometry was employed to characterize immune cell populations in skin. Expression of relevant cytokines and signaling molecules was assessed using quantitative PCR, bulk RNA sequencing, and Western blotting. We found significantly elevated expression of the IL-27 receptor in the lesional skin of patients with psoriasis or AD. IL-27 receptor-deficient mice exhibited markedly reduced skin inflammation in both psoriasis-like and AD-like murine models. Mechanistic investigations revealed that IL-27 induces tumor necrosis factor-α production via signal transducer and activator of transcription 1 activation in keratinocytes, thereby potentiating inflammatory responses. Our findings identify IL-27 signaling in keratinocytes as a pivotal regulator of skin inflammation in both psoriasis and AD. This study investigates the role of the histone demethylase JMJD1C and its encoding gene Jmjd1c in driving pathological angiogenesis and evaluates its therapeutic potential in ocular proliferative vascular diseases. Jmjd1c expression was examined in mouse models of ocular neovascularization and in endothelial cells (ECs) using immunostaining, qRT-PCR, and Western blotting. The pro-angiogenic functions of JMJD1C were assessed through EdU incorporation, Transwell migration, tube-formation, and spheroid-sprouting assays in vitro, as well as retinal flat-mount isolectin-B4 staining and H&E staining in vivo. RNA sequencing, immunostaining, qPCR, Western blotting, and ChIP-qPCR were employed to dissect the molecular mechanisms by which JMJD1C regulates pathological angiogenesis. Endothelial-specific deletion of Jmjd1c markedly reduced pathological neovascularization in both oxygen-induced retinopathy (OIR) and laser-induced choroidal neovascularization (CNV) models. Loss of JMJD1C impaired endothelial cell proliferation, migration, tube formation, and sprouting angiogenesis. Mechanistically, Jmjd1c deletion suppressed Srebf2 transcription and cholesterol biosynthesis by increasing repressive H3K9me2 histone marks in endothelial cells. Pharmacological inhibition of JMJD1C similarly attenuated neovascularization in wild-type mice. Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] has emerged as a critical determinant of residual cardiovascular risk. However, its impact on plaque morphology remains underinvestigated. This study aimed to elucidate the relationship between the serum Lp(a) levels, coronary plaque vulnerability, and vascular remodeling characteristics by utilizing intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). We retrospectively enrolled 292 consecutive patients with coronary artery disease who underwent IVUS. Target lesions were classified into vulnerable (n = 83) or stable (n = 209) plaque groups based on the IVUS criteria. Multivariate binary logistic regression was performed to identify independent predictors. The morphological parameters were further compared between the high (>18.8 mg/dL) and low (≤ 18.8 mg/dL) Lp(a) groups. The vulnerable plaque group exhibited significantly higher median serum Lp(a) levels than the stable group (14.56 vs. 11.04 mg/dL, P = 0.011). After adjusting for age, sex, LDL-C, smoking, diabetes, and hypertension, Lp(a) >18.8 mg/dL remained an independent predictor of plaque vulnerability (OR = 1.76; 95% CI: 1.00-3.07; P = 0.049). Notably, the LDL-C levels did not predict vulnerability in this cohort. Furthermore, the high Lp(a) group demonstrated significantly larger vascular dimensions (EEM CSA: 14.67±4.95 vs. 13.22±4.20 mm Elevated serum Lp(a) levels are independent predictors of coronary plaque vulnerability. This study employs latent profile analysis (LPA) to identify potential categories of nurse burnout and to analyze differences in characteristics and influencing factors across burnout categories. From June to August 2025, a mixed sampling approach combining convenience and snowball sampling was used to recruit nurses from hospitals of varying levels in Southwest China. Three tools were used for data collection: A self-designed routine information questionnaire, Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (MBI-GS) and Practice Environment Scale of the Nursing Work Index (PES-NWI), LPA identifies potential categories of nurses' professional burnout and uses multivariate logistic regression analysis to explore the factors associated with these categories. This study comprised a total of 809 participants. LPA identified four distinct latent classes of nursing burnout: Class 1, low-burnout-high-efficacy (11.5%); Class 2, mild-burnout-unfulfilled (33.9%); Class 3, moderate-burnout-exhausted (44.6%); and Class 4, severe-burnout-dysfunctional (10.0%). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age, years of work experience, hospital level, nurses' participation in hospital management, nursing quality standards, staffing and resource adequacy, and medical care cooperation are significant predictors of burnout among nurses ( Nurse burnout in southwest China is mainly moderate to severe and exhibits distinctive characteristics. Given that abnormal lipid metabolism is a hallmark of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), this study seeks to investigate the relationship between serum lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] levels and the progression or regression of MASLD. A total of 12,962 participants undergoing transient elastography at the Health Promotion Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University were included in the first cross-sectional study (Study 1). The longitudinal study (Study 2) included 17,661 individuals from the same center, each with at least two health check-ups involving abdominal ultrasonography. Another cross-sectional study (Study 3) included 5,927 individuals from the UK Biobank cohort who had undergone both magnetic resonance imaging proton density fat fraction (MRI-PDFF) and Lp(a) testing. Cross-sectional analysis (Study 1) revealed that elevated Lp(a) levels were inversely correlated with the severity of both hepatic steatosis and fibrosis. Longitudinal data (Study 2) further demonstrated that baseline serum Lp(a) levels were decreased in participants with the incident of MASLD, while increased in participants with the regression of MASLD during the follow-up period. The effects of extruded flaxseed-pulse mixture (LinPRO-24) on growth performance, tissue fatty acid composition, carcass traits, and meat quality in broilers were investigated. A total of 540-day-old male 308 Ross chicks were placed in pens (30 chicks/pen) and allocated to three diets (n = 6) in a completely randomized design. The diets were: CON (basal corn-soybean meal diet); LPA (CON+2.5% LinPRO-24); and LPB (CON+ 5.0% LinPRO-24). Diets were isocaloric and isonitrogenous, formulated for starter (day 1-10), grower (day 11-24), and finisher (day 24-34). Feed intake and body weight (BW) were recorded daily, and mortalities as they occurred to calculate average daily gain (AWG) and FCR. On day 34, visceral organs, breast tissue, and leg tissue were sampled. The CON group exhibited higher overall BW, AWG, and AFI than LPB (P < 0.05). Breast and leg tissues of birds fed LPB had the highest concentration of Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and total ω-3 PUFA followed by LPA; both had a higher ALA concentration than the CON group (P < 0.05). Thus, the ω-6:ω-3 ratio in these tissues was lower for LPA and LPB groups (P < 0.05). Additionally, both LPA and LPB groups had lower Docosatetraenoic acid (DTA, C22:4 ω-6), higher Docosapentaenoic acid (DPA, C22:5 ω-3) and total PUFA content, resulting in a reduced SFA:PUFA ratio in leg tissue compared with the CON group (P < 0.05). However, LPB negatively affected the water-holding capacity (WHC) in breast meat compared with the CON and in leg tissue compared with LPA treatment (P < 0.05). Moreover, LPB increased muscle hardness and gumminess in the breast compared with the CON group (P < 0.05), thereby negatively affecting meat textural qualities. Overall, both LPA and LPB diets increased the ω-3 PUFA content in poultry meat, thereby reducing the ω-6:ω-3 ratio. However, the current study suggests that the use of LinPRO-24 at 2.5% may be more appropriate for improving the fatty acid profile of broiler meat without compromising production performance and meat quality. Elevated lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] levels are an established risk factor for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, but the association between Lp(a) and venous thromboembolism (VTE) remains unclear. Sex and hormonal status may modify the relationship between Lp(a) and VTE. The present study included participants from the UK Biobank with available baseline Lp(a) data. Individuals with a history of VTE or cancer, as well as those using anticoagulants, were excluded. Multivariable-adjusted Cox models were used to assess the association between Lp(a) levels ≥ 125 nmol/L and incident VTE in premenopausal women, postmenopausal women, and men. Subgroup analyses stratified premenopausal women by oral contraceptive (OCP) use and postmenopausal women by menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) use. Among 55 302 premenopausal women, 129 045 postmenopausal women, and 189 013 men, the proportions with Lp(a) ≥ 125 nmol/L were 14.0%, 19.0%, and 15.0%, respectively. Over a median (interquartile range) follow-up of 13.6 (12.9-14.4) years, 8186 VTE events occurred (cumulative incidence 2.2%). Lp(a) ≥ 125 nmol/L was associated with incident VTE in premenopausal women [adjusted hazard ratio (aHR) 1.32; 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.04-1.66; P = 0.02] but not in postmenopausal women (aHR 1.03; 95% CI 0.94-1.13; P = 0.47; Pinteraction = 0.03) or men (aHR 1.00; 95% CI 0.92-1.08; P = 0.94). OCP use did not modify the Lp(a)-VTE association among premenopausal women (Pinteraction = 0.61). However, among postmenopausal MHT users, Lp(a) ≥ 125 nmol/L was associated with higher VTE risk (aHR 1.48; 95% CI 1.03-2.12; P = 0.03; Pinteraction = 0.04). Job satisfaction is a critical factor influencing workplace efficiency and employee well-being. In the context of Industry 5.0 transformation, understanding the latent profiles of job satisfaction and their relationship with mental health outcomes, such as depression, anxiety, and digital-intelligence job insecurity, is critical for promoting employee well-being and organizational sustainability. This study aims to explore the latent profiles of job satisfaction among industrial workers and explore their associations with mental health outcomes. This study used cross-sectional data from 3,420 male frontline workers from a large automobile manufacturing enterprise in Jilin Province, China in April 2024. Latent profile analysis (LPA) was employed to identify distinct latent profiles of job satisfaction among industrial workers, while hierarchical linear regression analysis was used to analyze the relationship between job satisfaction and psychological health outcomes (depression, anxiety and digital-intelligence job insecurity). The score of job satisfaction among industrial workers in Jilin Province was 3.62 ± 0.90. Four profiles were identified: very low (5.97%), low-to-moderate (31.14%), moderately high (42.63%), and high job satisfaction (20.26%). Depression and anxiety showed a clear level-gradient pattern across profiles, whereas digital-intelligence job insecurity displayed a non-monotonic pattern with higher levels in the low-to-moderate and moderately high profiles. Work stress showed consistent associations with all outcomes, and job satisfaction profiles remained associated with depression and anxiety after covariate and stress adjustment; associations with digital-intelligence job insecurity were smaller but detectable. This study examined heterogeneity in job satisfaction among frontline industrial workers and its associations with mental health outcomes. Latent profile analysis identified four job satisfaction profiles. Job satisfaction profile membership remained strongly associated with depression and anxiety. Digital-intelligence job insecurity showed a non-monotonic pattern across profiles. These findings suggest that an individual-centered profile approach provides actionable differentiation of mental health symptom burden across distinct job satisfaction patterns, supporting more targeted workplace strategies. Negative Emotional symptoms such as depression and anxiety do not exist independently, often co-occurring in the same individual, and heterogeneity exists between individuals suffering from depression and anxiety; however, prior research has rarely investigated heterogeneity in a person-centered manner and from the perspective of college students. The main purpose of this study was to explore this heterogeneity and its association with e-Health literacy (e-HL) using Latent profile analysis (LPA), a person-centered statistical method. A total of 7,503 Chinese college students from 10 regions (including Guangdong Province, Shanghai Municipality, and Jiangsu Province) were surveyed using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7) and Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) to assess anxiety and depressive symptoms. LPA was employed to identify potential profiles of negative emotional symptoms and validate their robustness; binary logistic regression was used to explore differences in demographic characteristics (sex, grade ranking), sociological factors (family residential background, per capita monthly family income), and lifestyle factors (adherence to physical activity, smoking status, alcohol consumption) across profiles; analysis of variance (ANOVA) was applied to compare e-HL levels among different profiles. The two-class model was identified as the optimal classification of negative emotional symptoms: low/no negative emotional symptoms (61.49%) and high negative emotional symptoms (38.51%). Female college students, those with low per capita monthly family income, lack of regular physical exercise, and alcohol consumption habits were more likely to be categorized into the high negative emotional symptoms group (all Reliance on self-report measures may lead to recall bias and social desirability bias; the cross-sectional design cannot establish causal relationships between variables; digital addiction, a potential confounding factor that may co-occur with negative emotional symptoms and influence e-HL, was not included in the analysis. This study identified two distinct latent profiles of negative emotional symptoms among Chinese college students and their key predictive factors using LPA. The findings highlight the need for stratified early screening for high-risk groups (females, low-income families, inactive individuals, and drinkers) and the development of targeted interventions. To assess the predictive value of serum lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] for contrast-induced nephropathy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Consecutive T2DM patients who underwent coronary angiography (CAG) or percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) between January 2019 and December 2021 were enrolled. Baseline Lp(a) was measured before the operation. CIN was defined as an increase in serum creatinine of more than 25% or 44 μmol within 72 h of contrast administration. The relationship between Lp(a) and CIN risk was analyzed. A total of 928 T2DM patients were included. CIN developed in 11.1% (103/928) of patients. The Lp(a) level was significantly higher in patients with CIN than in non-CIN patients (311.12 ± 278.66 vs. 254.19 ± 274.56 mg/L, A higher serum Lp(a) level indicates an increased risk of CIN in T2DM patients undergoing CAG or PCI and can serve as an independent predictor of CIN in this population. Data were gathered through general demographic questionnaires, the Chinese version of the Short Scale of Compassion Fatigue (CFSS), the Occupational Stress Scale, the Perceived Social Support Scale, as well as the Professional Identity Scale. A latent profile analysis (LPA) was conducted based on the three dimensions of the CFSS as observed indicators. While family resilience is a recognized determinant of adaptation following stroke, the distinct, empirically derived profiles of family resilience among Chinese stroke survivor-caregiver dyads have not been clearly delineated. Identifying these profiles and their determinants is crucial for developing targeted interventions. To identify latent profiles of family resilience and examine the socio-demographic and clinical factors associated with profile membership among stroke patient-caregiver dyads in China. In this cross-sectional study, a convenience sample of 773 stroke survivor-caregiver dyads was recruited from three hospitals in Zhejiang Province, China. Latent profile analysis (LPA) was conducted on the 20-item Family Resilience Questionnaire (FRQ). Multinomial logistic regression was used to determine factors associated with profile membership. LPA supported a four-profile solution: Profile 1 "Low-Functioning Families" (22%), Profile 2 "Moderately Resilient - Low Cohesive Families" (24%), Profile 3 "Highly Resilient - Well-Functioning Families" (31%), and Profile 4 "High-Functioning - Optimistically Resilient Families" (24%). Multinomial logistic regression revealed that lower caregiver competence (higher FCTI scores) was strongly associated with profile membership (standardized aORs ranged from 2.58 to 43.19), whereas higher perceived social support (PSSS) was a significant protective factor (standardized aORs ranged from 0.03 to 0.19). Caregiver relationship and payment source were also significantly associated with profile membership. Family resilience among Chinese stroke families manifests in four distinct profiles, which are differentiated predominantly by caregiver competence and perceived social support. Our findings advocate for a precision family support paradigm, shifting from one-size-fits-all approaches to interventions tailored to distinct resilience profiles. Adolescence is a critical period for rapid emotional and cognitive development. Depression and cognitive impairment frequently co-occur in this population, yet their comorbidity patterns and symptom-level interactions remain insufficiently explored. A total of 2,244 students (mean age = 16.8 ± 0.84 years; 1,218 males, 1,026 females) from a high school in Heilongjiang Province, China, were recruited. Depressive symptoms and cognitive impairment were assessed using the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CES-D) and the Perceived Deficits Questionnaire–Depression (PDQ-D). Latent profile analysis (LPA) was applied to identify subgroups, followed by network analysis to examine central symptoms (expected influence, EI), bridge symptoms (bridge expected influence, BEI), and network differences (NCT). The optimal LPA model identified three comorbidity subgroups: low, moderate, and high. Hemodialysis, as one of the main alternative treatment methods for end-stage renal disease, has received much attention in recent years. Due to the particularity of hemodialysis treatment, patients have a relatively high risk of infection during the treatment process. Hemodialysis nurses, who are the main executors of the treatment operations and have the most contact with patients, have a close relationship with the infection risk of patients. The level of their hospital infection prevention and control literacy is closely related to the infection risk of patients. To explore the current level of knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of hospital infection prevention and control among haemodialysis nurses in the Sichuan Province, China, and identified their potential categories. This provided evidence-based recommendations for improving infection control management in hemodialysis departments. A cross-sectional study was conducted From July 15 to August 15, 2025 using a convenience sampling method to survey 470 hemodialysis nurses from 78 hospitals in Sichuan Province. Participants were licensed nurses with over 3 months of hemodialysis experience. Data were collected using the A total of 460 valid questionnaires were collected, with an effective response rate of 97.87%. The average scores for knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to hospital infection prevention and control among haemodialysis nurses were 4.67 ± 0.43, 4.59 ± 0.43, and 4.74 ± 0.34, respectively. Three latent profile models were constructed, with the two-class model identified as the optimal solution, which were defined as the "Low KAP Group" (25.9%) and "High KAP Group" (74.1%).
